CUVCOR048 Revision Meetings

Meeting 1.

My first meeting with the client (Matt) to show my initial logo ideas I had gotten down in colour. After looking at the original designs he selected the green level up in the black badge style logo with a few adjustments.

He liked the green colour and the effect glow I had put on it and the font I chose which was D3 Euronism. I forgot to post any of them in black and white because I wanted to see which one he would like before doing that with all of them.

The changes he wanted made were as follows;

Lighten the black in gaming zone, create a greyscale version, wanted the logo bigger like the green version with the controller and rounded plate in black for the background.

Other ideas – black background for brochure and webpage or grey background and white text

3 page fold brochure – services provided, competitions, contact details

Slogan – “Own the Competition” client wanted that specific name

3D POS – Demo Game with logo incorporated like a blue ray label, ps3/xbox/pc variety

Webpage – reverse colour scheme grey/black and green, neat, non-cluttered, professional, contact details, comps for lan games and console games

Shopfront – anywhere along Baylis Street

Meeting 2

Showed Matt the amendments to the logo as requested and also in black and white. Started ideas for the demo game. Showed what I had done so far on the brochure. Showed very beginning ideas of webpage.

Matt showed me the preferred games for lan and consoles he would prefer on the brochure. Wanted a brighter green, liked row of boxes but only one box not two. One row green & grey, next row white.

Webpage – square green buttons about 2mm apart, put on gaming comps (stuff to put on)

Demo game – alternate fonts so he can choose his favourite typography on “Demo Game” & “Not for resale”

Discussion through email over holidays

Showed Matt the finished brochure which he was happy with, demo game completed and font changed to clients liking. Webpage completed and to clients content.

Changed some minor things like ½ the size of p/word and right align and place search button under username and p/word. Links changed order and dropped a few unnecessary per client request, green links boxes aligned to grey bars.

Completed the shopfront to clients satisfaction and ready for printing and critiquing.
