Unity/Variety & Hierachy/Dominance

Find 3 ads and explain Primary Principles of unity, variety, hierarchy and dominance.

1st Ad


Sips Happy Hour 
 
Unity - similar colour tones all blending together, saying the same thing on each shape, everything seems to tie together.

Variety -
different font types and colours, sizes vary, shapes.

Dominance -
Sips happy hour with the drink and circle is the focal point.

Hierarchy -
the biggest box, then smaller boxes in descending order.

Unity - black and white, same font throughout and simple layout.

Variety -
images and font, different font shades (bold etc), sizes vary in font, different text types.

Dominance -
Staff req'd is the focal point.

Hierarchy -
wanted heading, overtime, $$$$, pen image, bullet points and then text.

Unity - bold colours that go well together, concise shapes.

Variety -
contrasting colours, different shapes, an image.

Dominance -
Staff req'd is the focal point.

Hierarchy -
